Sahara Desert Trek
Take on a challenging trek in the awe-inspiring Sahara Desert and experience one of the world’s most extraordinary landscapes, all in support of YHA.
The trek will take you across varied desert terrain, from flat, fossil-strewn plains to towering sand dunes shaped by the wind. The days are tough under the desert sun, but the reward is unforgettable: incredible star-filled skies each night, with the Milky Way stretching above and the silence of the desert all around.
Guided by local Berber experts and accompanied by a small caravan of camels, you will set up remote night-camps where traditional meals, campfires, and Berber songs often become some of the most memorable moments of the adventure, all while supporting YHA’s charitable programmes

There are 3 different payment options available for this challenge event:
Fundraising Option
Pay a registration of £199 today, then £2,300 to YHA approximately 10 weeks before departure.
Part Payment Option
Pay a registration fee of £199 today, then £500 to Discover Adventure and £1,300 to YHA approximately 10 weeks before departure.
Full Payment Option
Pay a registration fee of £199 today, then pay £1,150 to Discover Adventure approximately 8 weeks before departure. Then, raise as much as you can to help YHA transform the lives of young people across the UK.
